Terms of Service

Effective September 9, 2026

These terms govern access to Tejera Works, a business-management service of Tejera Works LLC. By creating a company account, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these terms for yourself and the company you represent. If you do not have authority to bind that company, do not accept these terms or use its workspace.

Business accounts and authority

You must provide accurate information, protect account credentials, use a separate login for each person, and promptly remove access for anyone who is no longer authorized. Company owners are responsible for roles, permissions, billing choices, and activity within their company workspace. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.

Acceptable use

You may use Tejera Works only for lawful business purposes. You may not misuse the platform, access another company without authorization, distribute harmful code, scrape or disrupt the service, send unlawful or deceptive messages, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, or use the service to harass, discriminate, threaten, or harm another person. The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms.

Your information and customer communications

You retain ownership of business content you submit and give Tejera Works permission to host, process, display, back up, and transmit it as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of that content and for obtaining any permission required to collect customer information or contact a person by email, phone, or text. Marketing messages must include required disclosures and opt-out methods, and opt-out requests must be honored. The Data Processing & Security Addendum applies when Tejera Works processes company data for a subscribing company.

Estimates, contracts, signatures, and business decisions

Tejera Works provides tools for preparing and delivering business records. Each company remains responsible for its prices, scope of work, contract language, licenses, permits, insurance, taxes, employment practices, regulatory duties, and services performed. Electronic signatures and records may be used only with the signer’s consent and where permitted by law. The Electronic Records & Signature Consent explains the platform’s standard electronic-record process. Tejera Works does not provide legal, tax, insurance, employment, or trade advice.

Trials, payments, and subscriptions

Eligible businesses may receive one introductory trial. Tejera Works may use the company identity, owner account, and business email domain to prevent repeated trials. Canceling does not reset trial eligibility. A protected no-card trial pauses at the end of the trial and does not create a paid invoice; the customer must return and approve paid billing before a paid plan begins. For checkout that collects a payment method, unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected paid plan begins and renews automatically each billing period. Prices, renewal timing, and applicable taxes are shown before payment. Stripe processes card transactions; Tejera Works does not store complete card numbers.

Plan changes

Upgrades and added accounts generally take effect immediately. Stripe displays and charges the prorated difference for the remaining billing period before confirmation. Downgrades and account reductions generally take effect at the next renewal, with current access continuing through the paid period. Changing plans during an active trial does not extend or shorten the original trial period.

Referral rewards

Referral discounts and free-month rewards are promotional subscription benefits with no cash value. Eligibility, qualifying payments, exclusions, and reward timing are governed by the Referral Program Rules. Fraudulent, disputed, refunded, self-referred, or duplicate-company activity does not qualify.

Cancellation and refunds

You may stop renewal through secure subscription settings at any time. Access continues through the already-paid billing period. A voluntary cancellation does not create a prorated refund, service credit, or carry-over time. Tejera Works reviews duplicate charges, billing errors, service failure attributable to Tejera Works, and refunds required by law. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

Third-party services

Google, Stripe, email, text-message, hosting, map, storage, and other integrations are operated by independent providers under their own terms and policies. Tejera Works is not responsible for a third party’s service, content, security, availability, or changes. You authorize Tejera Works to exchange information with a connected service only as needed for the features you choose.

Availability, changes, and backups

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep Tejera Works reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted, completely secure, or error-free operation or any particular business result. Features may change as the platform improves. You are responsible for reviewing important records and keeping copies of information your business must retain by law or contract.

Suspension, termination, and data

Access may be limited or ended for nonpayment, security risk, unlawful use, or material violation of these terms. You may stop using the service and cancel according to your subscription settings. Before closing an account, export records your company must keep. We may retain limited information when reasonably needed for security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tejera Works is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or noninfringement. We do not warrant that estimates, contracts, schedules, messages, tax information, compliance records, or customer-entered information are accurate or legally sufficient for your business.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tejera Works LLC and its owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, revenue, or business opportunity. Their total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount your company paid Tejera Works during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where they are prohibited by law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, your company will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tejera Works LLC and its owners, employees, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your company’s content, customer communications, services, contracts, unlawful conduct, or violation of these terms or another person’s rights.

Intellectual property

Tejera Works LLC owns the Tejera Works platform, software, branding, website content, and related materials except for customer content and third-party materials. Tejera Works™ identifies services provided by Tejera Works LLC. These terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create unauthorized derivative works from the platform.

Governing law and disputes

Maryland law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you and Tejera Works agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the concern by written notice. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, courts located in Maryland will have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.

General terms

If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our written consent; Tejera Works may transfer them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the business. These terms and the linked policies are the complete agreement about the service unless a separate written agreement signed by Tejera Works says otherwise.

Language

Translations are provided for convenience and accessibility. To the extent permitted by law, the English version controls if a translated version conflicts with it. Contact us if any translated wording is unclear.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. We will post the revised effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Your continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.
