Privacy Policy

Tejera Works LLC provides business-management tools for service professionals. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you visit our website, create an account, connect a service, or use our platform.

Our role

Tejera Works controls information about its website visitors, account holders, billing contacts, and direct support requests. For customer, worker, property, job, estimate, contract, and similar records entered by a subscribing company, that company controls why the information is used and Tejera Works processes it to provide the requested service. Privacy requests about those company records should normally be directed to that company first. The Data Processing & Security Addendum describes these responsibilities in more detail.

Information we collect

We may collect account and contact information; company, team, license, insurance, and service-area details; customer, property, job, estimate, contract, signature, photo, and communication records you choose to enter; subscription and payment status; support communications; and device, browser, log, security, and usage information. Payment providers process complete payment-card details; Tejera Works does not store complete card numbers.

Sources of information

We receive information directly from you and authorized company members, from customers who use a request or approval page, automatically from devices and service logs, and from services you choose to connect, such as Google or Stripe.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies needed to keep users signed in, remember language and accessibility choices, protect sessions, save authorized device settings, and understand whether the service is working. Blocking required storage may prevent parts of the website or app from functioning.

Connected Google services

If you choose to connect a Google account or Google Business Profile, Tejera Works requests only the permissions needed for the features you select. We may receive basic profile information and authorized business data. We do not sell Google user data. You may disconnect Google access from Tejera Works or your Google Account settings.

How information is used

We use information to provide and secure the service; authenticate users; organize company workflows; generate requested records; deliver communications; process subscriptions; provide support; prevent fraud and repeated-trial abuse; diagnose failures; improve accessibility and product performance; enforce our terms; and comply with legal obligations.

Trial-abuse prevention

To enforce one introductory trial per eligible business, Tejera Works compares the company identity, owner email, and business email domain. The separate trial-eligibility record stores one-way fingerprints rather than another readable copy of the owner email.

How information is disclosed

We may disclose information to authorized members of your company; to providers supporting hosting, authentication, messaging, storage, analytics, support, maps, and payments; when you connect or direct a service; in connection with a business financing, merger, acquisition, or sale subject to appropriate safeguards; or when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal process, or protection of rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Security and incident response

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls and service monitoring. No online system can guarantee absolute security. If we confirm an incident affecting protected information, we will investigate, contain it, preserve relevant records, and provide legally required notices.

Security records and automated protection

When a request is suspicious, blocked, invalid, or repeated too quickly, Tejera Works may create a limited security record containing the event type, time, affected path, result, masked identifier, and a keyed one-way fingerprint of an IP address, account, or email address. We do not put readable IP addresses or email addresses, passwords, request bodies, complete card numbers, or precise locations in these security records. Automated limits are used to slow abuse, not to prove wrongdoing. Security events are normally retained for 180 days and may be kept longer when reasonably needed to investigate a confirmed incident, resolve an appeal, protect legal rights, or comply with law.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet tax, accounting, or legal duties. Retention periods depend on the type of record and why it is held. Eligible information is deleted or deidentified when it is no longer needed.

Your choices and privacy rights

You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete eligible personal information, or to receive information about how it is processed. Depending on where you live and whether an applicable privacy law covers the request, you may also have rights to confirm processing, obtain portability, opt out of certain uses, or appeal a denied request. We may need to verify your identity and authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legal privacy right.

Company administrators

Company owners and authorized managers control worker access and business records in their workspace. They are responsible for responding to their customers and workers, maintaining lawful notices and permissions, and removing access when it is no longer needed.

Communications choices

Account and transaction messages are sent when needed to provide the service. Promotional email, if offered, will include a way to unsubscribe. A company using Tejera Works remains responsible for honoring the communication choices of its own customers and for complying with applicable email, text-message, and calling laws.

Children

Tejera Works is a business service for adults and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as Tejera Works develops. The effective date will be revised, and additional notice will be provided when required by law.
